Core Functional Features on Launch

Live Slot Availability & Booking Flow

  • Patients can view real-time availability of time slots (specific to each doctor/service).
  • Doctors can block out dates when unavailable.
  • Slot requests are not auto-confirmed: doctor must manually accept before it’s booked.

WhatsApp/email Integration

  • All alerts — for slot acceptance, reminders, receipts, and follow-ups — are sent via WhatsApp/email.
  • Major communication channel for our operations and outreach.

Automated Follow-up Prompts

  • After a consultation, patients receive automated WhatsApp/email reminders for follow-up bookings (if applicable).
  • Follow-up timeframe will be customized based on service type.

Consultation Dashboard (Doctors & Admin)

  • View daily appointments, patient history, earnings summary.
  • Option to mark “attended”, upload prescription (PDF), or note follow-up plan.
  • Admin dashboard will also track donations, payouts, and service usage patterns.

Post-Consultation Payment Prompt Flow

Once a consultation is complete:

  • Patient is automatically taken to a payment page.
  • They are invited to enter any amount from ₹1 upward,

✅ Entering ‘₹1’ is allowed, but completing the form is mandatory.
✅ Patients can receive WhatsApp/email receipt instantly for the amount paid.

Two Separate Payment Gateways

Fees Gateway

  • All ‘pay-what-you-feel’ contributions are tagged as service payments, not donations.
  • 90% directly allocated to the service provider (doctor), 10% retained by Foundation.
  • These will generate normal receipts, not eligible for tax exemption.

Donation Gateway

  • Hosted separately on the site with emotional appeal and stories.
  • Generates 80G-eligible receipts if PAN and minimum ₹1 amount is entered.
  • Option for donors to specify purpose (general, service fund, outreach, etc.)

Future Enhancements (Phase 2 & Beyond)

Intelligent Slot Optimization

  • For busy doctors: suggest alternate slots based on their pattern and patient preferences.
  • Seamless one-click join button for audio/video consultation within the platform (or via WhatsApp/Zoom).

Medicine Ordering Integration

  • In Phase 2, patients may receive links to order medicines with one click (on third-party platforms like Netmeds or 1mg), tagged to their prescriptions.

Doctor Contribution Analytics

  • Real-time dashboards tracking service hours, patients served, earnings, bonuses.

Language Support

  • Site will gradually expand into Kannada, Hindi, and English for better reach.

Mobile App (Minimal)

Eventually, a lightweight Android app (progressive web app first) will be developed, focused on booking, reminders, and payments.
